Falajo

About Falajo

Clear information and simple tools, carried to where they are needed.

Falajo builds small, focused tools for business owners in the UAE. Our name and our way of working come from the falaj.

Why we started

Falajo was founded in Dubai in 2026, out of our own entrepreneurial journey. Running a business in the UAE, we kept looking for the same two things: clear information we could trust, and simple tools that do one job well. They were often scattered, hard to follow or built for much larger companies. So we started making them.

Inspired by the falaj

A falaj (plural aflaj) is an irrigation channel, not a river. Using only gravity, it carries water from underground sources and springs to the fields and homes that depend on it. In Al Ain, aflaj have watered the oases since as early as the first millennium BC, and some still flow today.

A falaj only works because a community shares its water fairly and maintains it together, generation after generation. That is the idea we build on: bring what is needed to where it is needed, and keep it in good order.

How we work

Official sources first

We link to the authority behind each rule.

Dated, always

Every guide shows when it was last checked.

Information, not advice

Our content is general information, not legal or tax advice. For your own case, speak to a registered professional.

Your data stays yours

Each tool asks only for what it needs to do its job.
